REQ Booth

What it does

• It stays in front

  Always on top, no window chrome, placed wherever you want it: over the waveform, next to the crate, your call. It remembers its spot from one night to the next.

• Requests land live

  Track, artist, first name, amount, and the time left to decide. Three cards in view, the rest scrolls.

• You answer from the Mac

  Accept, play it on the house, decline, mark as played: the same moves as on the phone, and the same reply goes out to the requester. A decision made here shows up there, and the other way round.

Install

1. 01Download the file, open it, drag REQ Booth to Applications.
2. 02Launch it. It shows a six-character code.
3. 03On your phone, in REQ: Settings → Connect REQ Booth. Type the code.
4. 04That's it. The window fills up as soon as a request comes in. To disconnect it: same screen, from the phone.

What it doesn't do

• It doesn't touch Serato

  Nothing is read from or written to your library. It's a window next to it, not a plug-in inside it.

• It doesn't update itself

  A new version shows up as a small badge in the title bar. You install it when you choose — never mid-set, never without your say.

• It doesn't replace the phone

  Your replies, your amounts, your QR, your payouts: all of that lives in the app. Booth handles the night, not the setup.

Compatibility

• ·macOS 11 Big Sur or later.
• ·Apple Silicon and Intel, one single file.
• ·Works with Serato DJ Pro — and with any software, really: it's a window.
• ·The window itself is in French for now: a dozen words, the same ones as in the app.
• ·Windows: not yet.
